A note on the handful of 1-3 star reviews: On February 27th 4chan made changes to the way WebMs are displayed on mobile, which broke Merlins WebM detection. It took several days to get a fix out on the app store. People who had paid for Merlin were understandably upset.
As of version 2, Merlins WebM detection is updated each time you open the app. If 4chan changes their WebM display again, it can be fixed the same day without needing to update the app. Thanks to those who reported the issue.

Everything works but playing gifs and webms takes some time. A wish from me: A custom client to make browsing easier and smoother. Thanks for the app!
Now, I know the app is called "... for iPhone", but since I need it for my iPad, I had to get it anyway. The thing is, that everything runs perfectly smooth. The only problem is, that everything looks really "zoomed in" (I cant think of a word here) since Im using the app on an iPad. If you make the app a little bit better looking on iPad, I would be very happy.
Works great! Was hoping to rotate full-screen view if possible.
Also the mute symbol only seems to activate in full screen mode. The icon doesnt seem to change in regular browsing mode.

One question how do you delete saved videos
If you can somehow add the webms to the gallery or make it easier to transfer to the PC that would be great. Ive been building up a webm collection with no way of moving them, and theyre eating up a ton of space.
Please add iPad support! This is the next best thing to a dedicated 4chan app. Lack of webm support is the one plague Apple has cast on browsing 4chan, and this solves the problem. Worth the couple bucks!
Some bad moments
Saw your post on Reddit the app worked for a bit now it doesnt at all.
This latest update "fixes" the webm issue by cutting the browser in half, then loading the webm. Fine.. Slower, but fine. The provlem is when you click gifs- they play embedded like they used to, but the app still splits the screen. Annoying and honestly not usable.
Every video opened froze the app, the back button broke the app and opened a text menu full of coding insanity, the refresh button doesnt work, and the videos wouldnt actually load half the time. On top of that, if the videos did function, they would have broken quality that made it impossible to view them. Not worth the money.

I bought it for the sole purpose of having a dedicated app for browsing 4chan with cool features, but the app doesnt support landscape.
SUPPORT LANDSCAPE and Ill change my review. Until then, I wasted $2 and have to continue browsing in Safari.
Is was working on my iPad mini, then it just stopped on 8/16/16.
